A contract signed for security services guarding the Rijeka port area

    On January 31, 2024, an Agreement for the security service to guard the port area of the port of Rijeka, was signed by Denis Vukorepa, Executive director of the Port of Rijeka Authority, and Ivan Funčić, President of the Board of Securitas Croatia Ltd., Zagreb.

    A public procurement procedure was conducted to choose the best security service provider, with Securitas Hrvatska Ltd being deemed the most economically advantageous based on the selection criteria. The total value of the contract is EUR 1,296,325.00 (including VAT).

    The contract covers security services for persons and property in the port area of Rijeka, including the Rijeka Basin, Bakar Basin, Raša Basin, and Zamet Basin. Services include entry-exit control, surveillance tours, and video surveillance, while adhering to port regulations for order, fire protection, port security, work and environmental protection.
