Bakar Goranin Ro-Ro terminal

The Bakar Goranin Ro-Ro Terminal has been under the jurisdiction of the Port of Rijeka Authority since 2007. Pursuant to the Decision of the Government of the Republic of Croatia amending the Decision on the Establishment of the Port of Rijeka Authority (published in the Official Gazette No. 72/2007), part of the former coke plant site was incorporated into the Port of Rijeka port area. As a result, the area was designated as maritime domain and placed under the management of the Port of Rijeka Authority. The terminal is intended for the transhipment and storage of Ro-Ro cargo and timber. It can accommodate vessels up to 200 m in length with a maximum draught of 9 m. Commercial operations at the terminal are carried out by the port concessionaire Port of Rijeka j.s.c.
