Visit of the Ambassador of the French Republic to the Republic of Croatia

On Wednesday, April 28, 2021, the Ambassador of the French Republic to the Republic of Croatia, HE Mr. Gaël François VEYSSIERE accompanied by members of the Embassy delegation visited the Port of Rijeka Authority of Rijeka.  The high delegation was welcomed by the Executive Director of the Port Authority, Mr. Denis Vukorepa with his associates and General Manager of CMA CGM Ltd. in Rijeka Mr. Jakov Karmelić. The delegation was introduced to current development projects, traffic growth and the development of the port as a key intermodal hub on the Mediterranean European Corridor. During the tour of the port, which was carried out by boat, the Ambassador had the opportunity to see the progress of work on the Adriatic Gate container terminal and the newly built Zagreb Deep Sea container terminal.
