    May 12, 2023

At the world’s largest fair of products, services and innovations in transport and logistics, »Transport Logistic 2023«, which was held in Munich, Port of Rijeka Authority presented the port of Rijeka and the Rijeka traffic route in a large unique exhibition area. This year’s presentation of the port of Rijeka was significant in many ways, first of all because it was the first time that a joint performance was organized by the Port Authority, as the host, and six other co-exhibitors, which resulted in great interest from visitors to the fair.
Along with the Port Authority, the port services were presented by Rijeka Gateway, concessionaire of the new Zagreb Deep Sea container terminal, AGCT – concessionaire at the existing Brajdica container terminal, Manšped, a transport and logistics company, Luka Rijeka j.s.c.., as the oldest concessionaire in the port, maritime agency Liburnia and the logistics company International Logistics and Chartering, all under the motto Rijeka is coming back. In addition, the fair was attended by representatives of numerous other companies and institutions related to port transport, logistics and all kinds of supporting services, as well as institutions related to shipping and transport.

The exhibition space of the Port Authority and co-exhibitors from the port of Rijeka was located in one of the central exhibition halls, in its central part, on an area of 210 square meters, where interested visitors could hear and learn everything about the port of Rijeka and the companies that presented themselves. as well as the possibilities of business cooperation. Interestingly, some of the leading European ports, such as Rotterdam, Antwerp and Hamburg, shared the same hall as a space for their presentation, and the Italian ports of Trieste and Monfalcone, direct competitors of Rijeka when it comes to port business, set up their space there.

On Thursday, May 11, a ceremony was held where the exhibitors addressed the audience, and after that the famous Croatian musician Ana Rucner performed, whose performance attracted a lot of attention from visitors to the fair and exhibitors from neighboring exhibition spaces.

The size and significance of this fair is perhaps best expressed by the fact that it was held on 120,000 square meters of indoor space, with an outdoor exhibition space, especially for railway-related exhibitors, bringing together more than 2,300 exhibitors from seventy countries, from all areas of transport – land, air and sea, as well as logistics and supporting services.
