Bojan Hlača and Denis Vukorepa laureates at The Maritime and Inland Waterways Days

The Maritime and Inland Waterways Days, manifestation traditionally organized by the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure on the occasion of the feast of St. Nicholas, the patron saint of seafarers and shipowners, was held this year in Čepin and Osijek. The main program began on Wednesday, December 3, with the Ceremonial Academy, where awards were presented to individuals and institutions deserving of special contributions to the development of maritime and inland waterways in the Republic of Croatia. On this occasion, the award for contribution to the development and reputation of maritime transport in the country and the world was presented to the President of the Governing Council of the Port of Rijeka Authority Mr. Bojan Hlača, Ph.D. while the award for contribution to the development of port infrastructure was received by Executive Director Mr. Denis Vukorepa. The awards were presented to the laureates by the State Secretary of the Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure, Mr. Žarko Tušek.
