    18-meter-deep draught of the Bakar terminal ready to accept the largest vessels

    The vessel Cape Veni is announced to dock the Bulk terminal in the Bakar Bay on the 12th of September in 2012. 163. 000 tones of iron ore cargo is to be manipulated from the 290- metre-long ship with the draught of 17,5 metres to the port warehouses with the final destination to the Hungarian ironworks

    Port of Rijeka Authority has successfully concluded its mandate over NAPA

At the NAPA General Assembly meeting the five presidents made an overview of past common accomplishments and introduced future goals. During the General Assembly, Gregor Veselko, the president of the Board of the Port of Koper took over the presidency from the Port of Rijeka Authority and its Executive director, Ph.D. Bojan Hlača.

    Five Adriatic Stars in Shanghai

    The members of the North Adriatic Ports Association NAPA (Venice, Koper, Ravenna, Rijeka and Trieste) presented their operations at the Transport Logistics China 2012 which took place from 5th to 7th June in Shanghai, China. The North Adriatic ports participated with a joint presentation at the largest logistics fair in Asia for the second time. Indeed, the fair is attended by all major logistics and transport service providers thus it can in terms of relevance easily be compared to the largest transport fair in Europe – Transport Logistics Munich. This year, the Shanghai fair saw the participation of nearly 500 exhibitors. During the fair, the NAPA association's stand was well visited and a number of guests also attended the presentation of infrastructure development plans of all five ports presented on the last day of the fair by the current NAPA President, Mr Bojan Hlača, the President of Rijeka Port Administration.
